Job Title: Laboratory Research Scientist

This is a full-time, fixed-term position on Crick terms and conditions of employment.

About the Role

The Laboratory Research Scientist will contribute to developing novel tools and technologies for the Organ Morphodynamics Laboratory led by Dr Rashmi Priya. The successful candidate will also run their independent project(s) and collaborate with other members of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop novel tools and technologies for the laboratory
  • Run independent project(s) and contribute to other projects on a collaborative basis
  • Provide experimental or technical support to other lab members
  • Contribute to proof-of-concept studies at the initial stages of different projects
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a higher education degree in Biological Sciences, Cell Biology or Developmental Biology (BSc, MSc) and practical laboratory experience. Experience in microscopy imaging and image analysis, molecular biology skills, and a strong interest in pursuing independent research are also essential.
