About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team at Thames Water. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our water supply and protecting the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze samples using colorimetric, gravimetric, and automated analysis techniques.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality results and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality management systems to ISO/IEC 17025, MCERTs, and DWTS standards.
- Contribute to the development of new methods and procedures to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on laboratory procedures and techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or a related science degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
