Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team at Thames Water. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our water supply by analyzing samples and providing accurate results.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze samples using colorimetric, gravimetric, and automated analysis techniques.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality results and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
- Develop and maintain expertise in specific areas of analysis and contribute to the development of new methods and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of data and maintenance of laboratory records.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or a related science degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to follow strict instructions and guidelines, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
