Facilities and Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Officer to join our team in Armagh. As a key member of our estate management and development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and grounds.
Main Responsibilities- Organise and facilitate the reactive and planned maintenance of all site accommodation and grounds.
- Facilitate and oversee statutory compliance maintenance and associated remedials.
- Ensure the Permit-to-Work / Hot Works system is managed to control the admittance of contractors to the site.
- Ensure site security procedures are in place and managed to make the premises, contents, and staff secure.
- Operational management of Estates Unit supply and services contracts.
- Experience carrying out a range of estate and facilities management.
- Working knowledge of work-related IT tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
This is a superb opportunity to gain experience working with a large government department. The salary is £24,225, and you will receive 37 days annual leave pro rata. You will be paid weekly via BACS every Friday morning.
