About the Role

This is a temporary contract position for an initial 12 months based in Armagh, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will join an experienced estate management and development team, reporting to the Estates Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Organising and facilitating the reactive (defects) and planned maintenance of all site accommodation and grounds.
  • Facilitating and overseeing statutory compliance maintenance and associated remedials.
  • Ensuring the Permit-to-Work / Hot Works system is managed to control the admittance of contractors to the site.
  • Ensuring site security procedures are in place and managed to make the premises, contents, and staff secure.
  • Operational management of Estates Unit supply and services contracts.
  • Management of Reception.
Requirements
  • Experience carrying out a range of estate and facilities management.
  • Working knowledge of work-related IT tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable Qualifications: NEBOSH Certificate, Occupational Health & Safety, Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management (IWFM) Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management or Equivalent.
What You'll Get in Return

This is a superb opportunity to gain experience working with a large government department. The salary is £24,225, along with 37 days annual leave pro rata. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. You will be paid weekly via BACS every Friday morning.
