About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Officer to join our team in Armagh. As a key member of our estate management and development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sites and facilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Organize and facilitate reactive and planned maintenance of all site accommodation and grounds.
  • Oversee statutory compliance maintenance and associated remedials, including fire risk assessments and electrical condition testing.
  • Manage the Permit-to-Work / Hot Works system to control contractor access and ensure safe working practices.
  • Operational management of Estates Unit supply and services contracts, including laundry, site security, and cleaning.
  • Manage Reception and ensure site security procedures are in place.
Requirements
  • Experience in estate and facilities management, with a working knowledge of work-related IT tools.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable qualifications include NEBOSH Certificate and IWFM Level 3 Diploma in Facilities Management.
What We Offer

This is a superb opportunity to gain experience working with a large government department. The salary is £24,225, with 37 days annual leave pro rata. You will be paid weekly via BACS every Friday morning.
