Are you a seasoned production manager with a passion for steel rolling? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Set the standard for safety excellence and drive continuous improvement in our rolling mill.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with sales demand and forecasts.
- Productivity Maximisation: Ensure effective workforce planning to meet production schedules and maximise productivity.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyse production data to drive performance improvements and identify areas for growth.
- Maintenance Management: Plan and manage production line maintenance to minimise disruptions.
- Quality Promotion: Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
- Strategic Contribution: Participate in planning and decision-making to align production strategy with business goals.
- Team Development: Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
- Performance Management: Set goals, provide feedback, and evaluate performance to drive success.
- Work Environment: Create a safe, positive, and productive work environment that promotes employee well-being.
- Talent Development: Plan for future organisational needs through talent and succession planning.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a production manager or manufacturing manager.
