About the Role
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Ostomy manufacturing department, ensuring high standards of product quality and departmental efficiency are met. This role reports to the Production Manager and requires close collaboration with staff to achieve a harmonious and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and staff the Ostomy manufacturing department, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Implement training programs to address skill gaps and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews, probation reviews, and performance appraisals for production employees.
- Meet Quality Management System requirements, including record keeping and document control.
- Maintain a robust traceability system for production departments and ensure tooling/machinery are properly maintained.
- Assist in generating Risk Assessment Data and perform regular safety walks to promote a culture of Health and Safety.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous production supervisory experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience working within a Quality Management System.
