**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Service Technician to join our team. As a Calibration Service Technician, you will be field-based and responsible for undertaking calibrations on various customer sites across the UK. You will provide a safe, proactive, flexible, and comprehensive calibration and technician service to our customers, supporting them in maintaining instrumentation and systems across electrical, flow, pressure, and temperature parameters.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide technical support and development to colleagues and customers
  • Conduct all duties in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures and policies, adhering to site safety rules, permit to work systems, and carrying out risk assessments and method statements
  • Comply with industry codes of practice and company Quality Management System
  • Apprentice trained in either calibration or engineering discipline with transferrable skills
  • Be comfortable with regular travel, including nights away from home
  • Be willing to work overtime when required, including occasional weekends
  • Good computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical/electronic discipline or equivalent
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Preferably qualified to HNC/HND in an appropriate engineering field
  • Have previous experience working in a calibration role and possess a good understanding of calibration practices and theories for industrial ovens/furnaces and refrigeration systems
