Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Calibration Specialist to join our team at Boeing Sheffield. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the precision and accuracy of our measurement tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external suppliers to plan and execute the calibration and maintenance of precision measurement tools and equipment.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide information on calibration schedules and ensure adherence to production timelines.
  • Collect and log accurate data, run standard reports, and maintain records in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Perform elementary analysis using developed tools to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain calibration and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Interface with technical personnel to collect, compile, and prepare engineering reports and graphs to support management decisions.

Requirements:

  • Customer support or customer service experience in a technical or quality role.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as aerospace or medical.
  • Familiarity with calibration recall systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and dimensional measurement and test equipment.
  • Motivated problem solver with 2+ years of experience using Microsoft and other office computing systems.
  • Experience developing processes using SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work tasks and environments.
  • Commitment to personal learning and development, with a willingness to seek feedback and improve.
  • Effective planning and decision-making skills, with the ability to involve stakeholders and monitor progress.
