About the Role

As an Automotive Diagnostics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our cutting-edge diagnostic systems within vehicle manufacturing environments. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong communication to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive End-of-Line (EOL) test sequences for automotive vehicles, ensuring rigorous quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct on-site testing and deployment of EOL diagnostic hardware and software, providing expert technical support to our clients.
  • Meticulously document and report test results, identifying any discrepancies or potential issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to refine and validate EOL test sequences, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Lead the launch of new EOL test systems at client facilities, providing comprehensive training and support to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered during project execution, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Create user-friendly documentation and training materials for clients, fostering clear understanding and effective utilization of our diagnostic solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless information flow and collaborative decision-making.
  • Manage project tasks efficiently using JIRA, adhering to established workflows and deadlines.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background and a passion for automotive diagnostics. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 10) and virtualization technologies such as VMware and Virtual Box.
  • A solid understanding of Windows networking principles (TCP/IP, DHCP).
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols (KWP2000, ISO14230, ISO15765, J1939, ISO14229, ISO13400).
  • Experience with Wireshark and CAN logs (DoIP and CAN).
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
