Job Description

As a Diagnostic Hardware Product Owner at Bosch, you will be responsible for developing and communicating major product characteristics for vehicle diagnostic hardware. Your expertise in vehicle diagnostic areas, combined with your experience in automotive electronics, will enable you to maintain and update the team backlog according to the priority of Product Field backlog.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate major product characteristics for vehicle diagnostic hardware
  • Maintain and update the team backlog according to the priority of Product Field backlog
  • Collect and clarify customer requirements
  • Approve completed stories and ensure customer-perceived quality
  • Responsible for the artefact of 'acceptance criteria' and review quality
  • Reviews and contributes to the Product Field vision, roadmap, and content presentation
  • Closely cooperate and synchronize with Product Field Head and other POs
  • Contribute to program backlog refinement
  • Draft team-specific enablers and features, aggregate them, and forward them to program backlog
  • Elaborate team stories and break down program features
  • Maintain and refactor issues in alignment with Product Field Head
  • Cooperate with architects to identify enablers
  • Participate in team demos and retrospectives
  • Drive the team's understanding of the End User/Customer (clarify backlog items from End User's perspective)
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of hardware platform solutions and output comparative analysis reports of competitors
  • Cooperate with suppliers for hardware production
Qualifications
  • Strong domain and technical expertise in vehicle diagnostic areas, at least 5 years of related working experience in automotive electronics, including full product life cycle development from concept to production
  • Familiar with the development process and certification standards of embedded hardware products
  • Strong communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders and teams and visualization of vision and features
  • Result-oriented
  • Profound understanding of product, market, and business value
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Understanding of business management (marketing, sales, controlling, cost-benefit calculation)
  • Expertise on agile and lean methods (Kanban, Scrum, SAFe, OKR)
  • Efficient and structured way of working
  • Persuasive power & courage
  • Good written and oral English
Education
  • Bachelor or Master degree in electrical or electronic engineering, Automation, or other relevant discipline
