Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Field Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Your primary focus will be on diagnosing and resolving issues related to our End of Line (EOL) diagnostic hardware and software. You will work closely with our development team, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site testing and deployment of EOL diagnostic hardware and software
  • Verification and testing of EOL test sequences in office and on-site
  • Preparing and participating in plant vehicle launches of EOL test systems
  • Resolving issues on-site with minimal or no assistance from other resources
  • Creating and providing customer documentation and training
  • Installation of EOL Runtime to QA and production servers
  • Setup and configuration of plant-specific networks for validation testing
  • Setup, testing, and validation of server plant management web-based tools
  • Running SQL scripts against SQL databases
  • Participating in QA and production release reviews

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7 32/64bit, Windows 10 32/64bit
  • Working knowledge of VMWARE and Virtual Box applications tools
  • Understanding of Windows background services
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Windows networking (TCP/IP and DHCP)
  • Knowledge and understanding of vehicle diagnostics (at least one automotive diagnostic protocol)
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
  • Microsoft SQL Server knowledge
  • XML file knowledge
