Job Title: Hospital Director

Merco Recruitment is seeking an experienced Hospital Director to lead our client's hospital in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hospital's financial and operational performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving improvements in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Senior Management Team (SMT) to achieve business planning, financial performance, and care quality standards.
  • Manage cost control and budgeting to ensure the hospital's financial stability.
  • Chair the monthly Clinical Governance Meetings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Cultivate and sustain a culture of excellence in patient care, driving improvements and innovation in service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role in healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in healthcare.
