About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hospital Director to lead our team at Priory Hospital Altrincham. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for the financial and operational performance of the hospital, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care and services to our patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management, with experience of working in a similar setting. You will be able to develop and implement strategies to improve our services, drive business growth, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Hospital's Senior Management Team and take ownership of cost control, budgeting, and financial performance.
  • Ensure the delivery of day-to-day services in line with legal requirements as the Registered Manager.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve services, drive business growth, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Chair the monthly Clinical Governance Meetings and quarterly Medical Advisory Committee meetings.
  • Work closely with the HR function to establish and direct a recruitment and retention plan.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience working at a senior level, preferably within a similar setting. You will have a strong understanding of developing services for healthcare and a proven track record of innovation and accomplishment.

Candidates will also be expected to have experience of commercial accountability, with regards to cost control and financial performance. A thorough understanding of developing services for healthcare and a strong record of accomplishment and innovation are essential.
