About the Role

We are seeking a professional Receptionist to provide a comprehensive reception service for all visitors and staff at our Hinckley site. The successful candidate will be a reliable and welcoming member of the team, with a positive 'can do' approach to work.

Main Duties
  • Answer all incoming calls (circa 200 per day) and transfer, re-direct or assist callers as appropriate.
  • Welcome all visitors and ensure their presence on-site is recorded accurately, in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Sort incoming mail and frank outgoing mail, ensuring the franking machine is maintained.
  • Deal with deliveries and order couriers.
  • Manage mailboxes and co-ordinate the booking of on-site meeting rooms.
  • Collate and control stationery supplies.
  • Act as Fire Warden for DS Smith Plc in the event of an emergency evacuation.
  • Ensure the Reception and kitchen area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar corporate, high-profile role.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Confident and experienced with telephone systems and diary management.
  • Excellent personal presentation and clear diction.
  • Calm manner and ability to think and react quickly when under pressure.
