Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Service Manager to join our Community Support team at The Edmund Trust.

This role will involve working closely with family members, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, and demonstrating the values of our organization.

The successful candidate will be experienced in supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, have excellent communication skills, and be proactive, dynamic, and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with learning disabilities in a community setting
  • Work closely with family members to ensure personalized support
  • Develop and implement support plans to meet individual needs
  • Mentor and support staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Lead a team to achieve excellent outcomes
  • Administer tasks in a timely and organized manner
  • Ensure compliance with support agreements, plans, and policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3)
  • Experience in supporting people with learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, dynamic, and adaptable
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
