About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retrofit Assessor to join our team at Sustainable Building Services (UK) Ltd. As a Retrofit Assessor, you will play a crucial role in conducting energy assessments for individual properties to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting energy assessments in accordance with PAS2035:2019 requirements and industry standards
  • Using in-house solutions and customer-provided solutions to carry out energy assessments for SHDF/ECO4/GBIS funding requirements
  • Deploying to locations in the North West to conduct energy assessments for Sustainable Building Services and Sustainable Energy Services as required
  • Traveling to locations to assess properties in need of energy efficiency improvements and working with sub-contracted Retrofit Coordinators to ensure joined-up thinking on funding requirements
  • Collaborating with the Sustainable Building Services team and Local Site Managers/Tenant Liaison Officers to arrange diaries and access residents' homes at the right time
  • Ensuring all documentation is collated and administered to the right point of collection for review by administrators, Retrofit Coordinators, or managers
  • Being presentable, punctual, and professional in engagement with residents, customers, and company employees
  • Communicating availability and plans for the week ahead to ensure effective utilization of capacity

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience surveying/assessing properties for energy-efficient improvements
  • Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment and Retrofit Assessment

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 plus a car allowance, making this an attractive opportunity for a skilled Retrofit Assessor looking to join a dynamic team.
