AV Service Desk Technician Job Description

NMS Recruit Limited is seeking an experienced AV Service Desk Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service desk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming service calls and address client enquiries or product faults
  • Review client requests and allocate works to field service engineers
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support as required
  • Schedule engineer call outs to site
  • Schedule planned preventative maintenance visits
  • Monitor client's assets and provide asset management and outstanding work reports as required
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of repaired or replacement parts and equipment
  • Maintain and update ticketing platform
  • Handle RMA's
Essential Skills:
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Natural multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment and manages hectic schedules effectively
