About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Lincolnshire Recovery Service, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to overcome addiction and achieve recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert medication management and prescribing services to individuals with substance use disorders
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to support clients in achieving recovery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct health assessments, administer detoxification medication, and provide Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations
  • Work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Pharmacist
  • Already a qualified independent prescriber with experience in managing opiate and alcohol detoxifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to develop creative and flexible support packages
  • Deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience, with a genuine interest in helping individuals with complex needs
