About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Process Supervisor to join our National Hub team. As a key supervisory role, you will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas of the National Hub operation.
This role requires a strong focus on workplace safety and operational efficiency, with a commitment to promoting an engaging working culture. You will work closely with the Process Manager to ensure the effective deployment of all operational resources and maintain records and accountability of staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy operational resources effectively and maintain records of staff and agency personnel.
- Ensure all team members receive training and development opportunities to foster a coaching and feedback culture.
- Conduct pre and post-shift equipment checks and report any issues in accordance with work area requirements.
- Monitor and achieve KPI targets in accordance with work area requirements.
- Take initiative and make decisions that benefit colleagues, customers, and the operation.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a comparable or acting supervisory role.
- Proven experience of managing large teams (20+).
