Job Overview

In light of our ongoing expansion, we are currently in search of a Financial Operations Manager to become a vital part of our Finance division at Culina Group.

As a Financial Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily financial activities, contributing to the formulation of the monthly financial reports.

This role is a full-time, permanent opportunity Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, offering a competitive remuneration package and the chance to collaborate with an innovative leader in the market.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Operations Manager include:

Management of Fixed Asset and Leasing operations within the organization. Collaboration with the finance team in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including journal entries. Analysis and clarification of discrepancies in the Financial Statements. Reconciliation and proactive identification of potential issues before and after month-end. Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Ongoing enhancement of existing processes. Maximizing revenue by identifying and investigating underutilized assets. Development of cash flow projections. Support in the creation of group reporting packages, ensuring timely completion and submission. Assist with external audits of the organization. Aid in the annual budgeting process and regular forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders. Mentor and develop members of the Finance team. Provide ad hoc reports as requested by senior management.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Financial Operations Manager, candidates should possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

Fully or partially qualified accountant. Experience in the preparation of financial statements and process implementation. Proficient in accounts preparation, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and income deferral. Background in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail. Commercially savvy and engaged in advancing the company’s objectives. A proactive mindset towards problem-solving and continuous improvement. Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and Word. Excellent communication skills with the ability to excel in a dynamic, growing team. Capability to meet deadlines under pressure. Motivated and eager to operate within established guidelines.
