Financial Operations Manager

Job Overview
Due to ongoing expansion, we are currently looking for a Financial Operations Manager to become a key member of our Finance department.
In this role, you will oversee daily financial operations, contributing to the preparation of monthly financial reports.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, offering a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the chance to collaborate with an innovative industry leader.
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Operations Manager include:
Management of Fixed Asset and Leasing operations. Collaborating with the finance team to prepare monthly financial statements, including journal entries. Analyzing and clarifying discrepancies in financial reports. Reconciling accounts and proactively addressing any issues identified before and after month-end. Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Driving continuous improvement in existing processes. Identifying and investigating underutilized assets to maximize revenue. Developing cash flow forecasts. Assisting with the preparation of group reporting packs to ensure timely submission. Supporting external audits. Aiding in the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting for internal and external needs. Mentoring and developing Finance team members. Providing ad hoc reports as requested by senior management.Required Qualifications
To be considered for the role of Financial Operations Manager, candidates should possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
Fully or partially qualified Accountant. Proven experience in producing financial statements and implementing processes. Skilled in accounts preparation, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and income deferral. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail. Commercially aware and engaged in driving the company's objectives. Proactive in problem-solving and committed to continuous improvement. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and Word. Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing team. Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Motivated and eager to work within established guidelines.Additional Information
