We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at a vibrant, inclusive school in London. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism, working closely with experienced SEN staff to create a positive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with autism in a 2-form entry primary school setting
- Collaborate with SEN staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting social and emotional well-being
- Contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment, fostering a sense of community and inclusion
- 2:1 degree (minimum) in a relevant field, with experience working with children with special needs
- Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude, with a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment
- Competitive daily rate of £105.00 PAYE, inclusive of annual leave entitlement
