Behaviour Mentor Position

LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to enhance our educational team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in promoting positive conduct and nurturing the emotional health of primary school pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer individualized and group assistance to students facing behavioural difficulties.
  • Design and execute behaviour modification strategies.
  • Establish a secure and welcoming educational atmosphere.
  • Foster constructive relationships with students, their families, and caregivers.
  • Track and document student development and behavioural progress.
  • Work in partnership with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to aid students with unique requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on effective behaviour management techniques.
  • Support classroom educators with lesson design and preparation.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in education, psychology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven experience in supporting primary school children in a behavioural capacity.
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to maintain composure in challenging circumstances.
