About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Class Teacher in Key Stage 2, assisting with behaviour management, running Maths and English booster interventions, and supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide whole-class support to the Class Teacher in Key Stage 2
  • Assist with behaviour management and create a positive learning environment
  • Run Maths and English booster interventions to support students who require additional support
  • Support children with SEN and EAL, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background at GCSE and A Level
  • 2:1 or above at degree level
  • Previous tutoring or other child-related experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
