Residential Support Worker - Adult

Location: Gateshead

Salary: £110 - £170 per day

Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at a supportive school in Gateshead. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to adults, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support and care to adults in a residential setting.
  • Assist with personal care, daily activities, and social interactions.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Promote independence and encourage participation in community activities.
  • Monitor and report on the well-being and progress of residents.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults in a care or support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting adults.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in adult care (desirable but not essential).
