Employment Advisor

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a proactive Employment Advisor to assist individuals facing mental health challenges and other barriers to employment, as well as support those on sick leave in their return to work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage a caseload of clients presenting multiple barriers, including mental health issues, disabilities, substance misuse, criminal histories, and skills gaps.

* Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for each client to identify their specific challenges, past experiences, skills, and training needs.

* Engage with local employers to uncover new job opportunities and promote these positions to clients.

**Requirements:**

* Extensive experience as an Employment Advisor/Job Coach, demonstrating a successful track record in helping unemployed individuals secure work.

* A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

**Note:** Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

**About the Role:**

As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop personalized plans, and provide guidance and support to help them secure employment.
