About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our East London Intensive Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviors in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, care, and treat individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviors in the community.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, carers, and colleagues to ensure effective care planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide advice and consultation to colleagues on autism and learning disability-related matters.
- Facilitate access to health services through partnership working with primary and secondary healthcare providers.
- Support service users in developing their skills and independence, promoting healthy living and well-being.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in health or social care.
- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse communication needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload.
- Competence in using IT software, including Microsoft Office and electronic patient records.
