Job Title: Senior Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to support our engineering capabilities and expertise in Hydrogen research by developing and maintaining our Hydrogen laboratory facilities.

About the Role

As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for research and development, instrumentation, and laboratory equipment in a wide range of fluid engineering activities. You will be competent in the safe and effective operation of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and instrumentation, including commissioning, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of our Hydrogen laboratory facilities
  • Provide technical support for research and development, instrumentation, and laboratory equipment
  • Commission, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Work with students and staff at all levels to share technical knowledge effectively
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience of providing engineering technical support for research and development/or instrumentation in a laboratory environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with students and staff at all levels
