We are seeking a highly skilled Casualty Treaty and MGA Broker to join our Specialty Casualty team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical and strategic broking services to our clients, including the placement and servicing of Treaty Reinsurances and MGA clients.
Key Responsibilities- Review and Analysis: Review coverage, structuring, and pricing in coordination with actuarial and analytics colleagues.
- Technical Broking: Provide technical and strategic broking services in support of the Account Executive and wider client team.
- Client Support: Resolve queries received from clients and reinsurers, liaising with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations.
- Marketing and Communication: Work in partnership with the client team to market reinsurance and MGA placements, involving communication with both clients and reinsurers.
- Risk Management: Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and comply with Aon UK Limited policies.
- New Business Opportunities: Engage actively in new business opportunities that come into the team.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of reinsurance and MGA markets.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and client-centric focus.
- Project Management: Project management experience is preferable.
- Data Analysis: Data analysis and high-level mathematical/statistical education are preferred.
- IT Competency: Good level of IT competency, including high-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to and experience of working in a team environment.
