Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: North West

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pa + 25 Holidays, Pension

This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your Facilities Management career and make a significant impact in a dynamic organisation.

Role Overview:

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for coordinating both planned and unplanned maintenance, as well as overseeing facilities improvement projects across a network of distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Maintenance Calendar and coordination of contractor activities.
  • Overseeing facilities improvement initiatives and supporting major projects.
  • Collating reports, managing work schedules, and signing-off completed works while controlling costs.
  • Researching and evaluating alternative maintenance suppliers, supporting the tender process and onboarding of new contractors as required.

Experience Required:

Previous experience in a Facilities Management or Health and Safety role is required, ideally having been responsible for multiple sites.

Key Skills:

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments and maintaining registers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally challenge contractors.
  • Reasonable technical ability and understanding of basic finance and budgeting.
  • Proactive with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Benefits:

  • Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 pa, dependent on experience.
  • 25 Holidays, plus Bank Holidays.
  • 5% Pension.
  • Access to a pool car for travel between locations.
