About the Role:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in a leading healthcare provider based in the UK. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of risk assessment, risk management, and clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' hearings, and attend hearings
  • Participate in the 1 in 6/7 telephone on-call rota
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis
  • Knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity
  • A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess, and treat patients, and write clear, comprehensive medical notes
  • Committed to continued professional development
