About the Role

  • Lead the implementation of risk assessment, risk management, and clinical governance
  • Supervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' hearings, and attend hearings
  • Participate in the 1 in 6/7 telephone on-call rota
  • Provide experienced and knowledgeable adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis
  • Stay up-to-date with the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, as well as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills to interview, assess, and treat patients, and write clear and comprehensive medical notes
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices
