Overview:
Are you a dedicated and empathetic professional in the field of Behavioural Support? We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team at GSL Education - Yorkshire, where you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere for secondary school students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused behavioural assistance to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Provide both individual and group support tailored to students with specific behavioural requirements.
- Design and execute effective behaviour management plans.
- Collaborate closely with educators and staff to enhance student welfare.
- Track and document student behaviour and development.
- Promote a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Engage with parents and external organizations to address student needs.
- Employ suitable assessment and intervention techniques to tackle behavioural challenges.

Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar capacity within an educational framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to cultivate positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Dedication to fostering equality and diversity within the educational setting.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection protocols.

Candidates must possess an updated CV reflecting the last ten years of experience, excluding any unexplained gaps, and an enhanced DBS registered with the update service (or be prepared to apply for one).

Please note that this position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must meet all background safer recruitment criteria, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
