Experienced Insurance Claims Building Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Adjusting Appointments Limited. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in assessing damage to properties and helping to establish and agree a defect diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess damage and work alongside a team of experienced Loss Adjusters to establish a defect diagnosis.
- Ensure all planning, building regulations, and party wall issues are addressed.
- Arrange testing, report preparation, complaints resolution, and compliance performance.
- Prepare reports with budget costings and recommendations.
About the Role:
- This is a remote working opportunity with travel covering your geographical region.
- You will be working on a wide range of buildings and structures, including commercial properties.
- Experience in dealing with all peril-related property damage, including large complex losses, is essential.
- You will be working closely with other teams, including Adjusters and Structural Engineers.
- Industry qualifications, ideally Chartered MRICS qualified or willing to work towards, are highly desirable.
- A full clean driving license and willingness to travel outside of your geographical area are required.
Requirements:
- Experienced Building Surveyor within the Insurance Claims Sector.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in building surveying.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
