Job Title: Support Worker - Young Adults

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hyde Lodge, providing support to young adults with severe and complex learning difficulties and challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with all aspects of their daily living, including personal care and hygiene
  • Encouraging and enabling individuals to participate in a wide range of learning, development, and social activities
  • Working 1:1 with residents on each shift, planning their day in line with their choices and wishes
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field
  • Ability to work to a rota pattern, including weekends
  • Full UK driving license (2+ years)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated and proactive approach to the role
