Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Impact Officer to join our Research and Enterprise Service at the University of Central Lancashire. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of research impact and REF impact case studies, as well as providing administrative support for the university's research-impact evidence database, Impact Tracker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to academics on creating and capturing research impact
  • Support the development of a portfolio of impact case studies for the Research Excellence Framework (REF)
  • Plan, prioritise, and organise the administration of the university's research-impact evidence database, Impact Tracker
  • Engage effectively with a wide range of staff, from Early Career Researchers to Senior Managers
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent experiential learning
  • Experience of supporting the development of research impact and REF impact case studies
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
