Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Cancer Services. As a specialist in physical health psychology, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of patients with complex conditions, using evidence-based approaches and neuropsychological testing.
- Develop and implement highly specialist psychological therapy plans, working collaboratively with patients and their carers.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, ensuring best practice and high-quality care.

Person Specification- Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, with experience in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
- Postdoctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
- Experience of joint working with statutory, voluntary, and private sector agencies.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and a commitment to best practice.
