Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre is a vibrant leisure facility that offers a range of activities and services to the local community. We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Casual Duty Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Casual Duty Manager to support our management team in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to manage and supervise staff, and have a strong understanding of health and safety issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure the centre runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and staffed to provide a great customer experience
  • Support the management team in achieving centre goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve customer service and centre operations
  • Monitor and report on centre performance and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working in a leisure or sporting environment
  • Strong financial, administrative, and customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of health and safety issues and an understanding of diversity and equality in employment and provision of service
  • National Pool Lifeguard qualification and Pool Plan Operator qualification (essential)
  • First Aid qualification (desirable)
