About the Role

The Senior Communications Manager is a key position at Resonance Limited, responsible for communicating our mission of connecting capital with social enterprise. This role operates across our entire business, helping to raise our profile through public relations and policy, building relationships and influencing key stakeholders such as media, government, industry, social enterprise, and investment and pension networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be our go-to expert and spokesperson on challenges impacting affordable housing and homelessness in the UK, including housing allowances.
  • Coordinate and commission research, identifying how we position ourselves and influence government and local policy across the UK.
  • Lead on our communications for our net zero ambitions and the cost of living challenge for our stakeholders such as tenants and social enterprises.
  • Take a hands-on approach with writing and inputting into content such as blogs, social media posts, press releases, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a senior communications manager role or similar.
  • Significant marketing, PR, and policy experience gained within either the housing, financial services, investment, or social enterprise sectors.
  • Detailed understanding and experience in both online and offline communications.
  • Experience in analyzing data and using this to develop communication plans.
  • Excellent authoring skills, making well-researched and highly technical content relevant and easy to understand for different audiences.
