We are a pioneering impact property fund manager transforming the relationship between private investment and social good. Our mission is to connect capital with social enterprise, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Communications Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the marketing strategy for our Impact Labs division, supporting our impact reporting for social impact investment funds.
- Develop and implement a communications plan to raise our profile and influence key stakeholders, including media, government, industry, social enterprise, and investment networks.
- Coordinate and commission research to identify opportunities for positioning ourselves and influencing government and local policy across the UK.
- Create and publish thought leadership content that builds on our reputation as an expert in the sector and a leader in social impact investment.
- Raise our profile and coordinate our approach with organizations such as B Corp, Impact Europe, and Responsible Finance.
- Lead on our communications for our Net Zero ambitions and the Cost of Living challenge for our stakeholders.
- Take a hands-on approach with writing and inputting into content such as blogs, social media posts, press releases, and more.
- Support the development of our overall marketing strategy.
Requirements
- Proven track record in a Senior Communications Manager role or similar.
- Significant marketing, PR, and policy experience gained within the housing, financial services, investment, or social enterprise sectors.
- Detailed understanding and experience in both online and offline communications.
- Experience in analyzing data and using it to develop communication plans.
- Ability to understand complex legislation and research from various sources, turning it into a company position that you then successfully articulate.
- Excellent authoring skills, making well-researched and highly technical content relevant and easy to understand for different audiences.
- Enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in – do whatever it takes to get the job done, supporting others in the team.
