Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

About the Role:
  • Support children with a range of needs, including Social, Communication and Interaction delay/difficulties, Autism, Speech and Language delay, Sensory processing difficulties, Physical self-help difficulties, Cognition and learning delay, and Global Delay.
  • Work in a provision that is mostly play-based, with children dipping into subject-specific curriculum as and when they are suitable based on their developmental ability.
  • Collaborate with a teacher and two other TAs in each class to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with children with varying needs and abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
