Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx. As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with Social, Communication and Interaction delay/difficulties
  • Assist children with Autism, Speech and Language delay, Sensory processing difficulties, and Physical self-help difficulties
  • Provide holistic and play-based support to children with Cognition and learning delay, Global Delay, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
