TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is supporting a highly successful and well-established accountancy practice in Sidcup in their search for a Payroll / CIS Administrator. This key role within the firm involves managing payroll services for a diverse client base, as well as the opportunity to manage a portfolio of CIS clients within the construction industry.

Our client is a reputable firm of chartered accountants serving clients across various sizes, industries, and sectors. This position provides exposure to a broad range of client types and great progression prospects.

As a Payroll Administrator in the Sidcup office, you will oversee payroll services (weekly, monthly, etc.) for a wide spectrum of clients. Responsibilities include addressing client queries, advising on technical issues, and assisting with other projects using Sage payroll software. On the CIS side, you will support with CIS compliance, record keeping, deductions, and returns while supporting with queries and liaising with HMRC primarily using Xero software.

Requirements
  • This position will sit within an experienced payroll team, so you will be surrounded by fantastic support. They use Sage software, but training can be provided.
  • Experience of CIS clients would be advantageous.
  • You will be a technically proficient Payroll Administrator who has a minimum of 2-3 years or more experience in Payroll.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years of experience within practice. You will have worked as a Semi-Senior or Senior accountant within practice. Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous.
