Highways Maintenance Manager

We are seeking experienced Highways Supervisors to join our team on the Surrey County Council contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving Surrey's highways infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with all regulations.
- Manage and coordinate site activities, including planning, resource allocation, and supervision of on-site teams.
- Conduct site inspections, identify any issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, progress reports, and health and safety documentation.
- Proven experience in highway maintenance or construction, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas: VRS, Capital Schemes, Drainage, Structures, or Footways.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Surrey.
