We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Highways Supervisors on the Surrey County Council contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving Surrey's highways infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate site activities, including planning, resource allocation, and supervision of on-site teams.
  • Conduct site inspections, identify any issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, progress reports, and health and safety documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in highway maintenance or construction, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Vehicle Restraint Systems, Capital Schemes, Drainage, Structures, or Footways.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Surrey.
