Position Overview: Capital Sales Specialist – Life Science, South UK

We are seeking a dedicated Capital Sales Specialist to take charge of and advance Capital Sales within the Life Sciences sector for the Southern UK region. This role presents a unique opportunity to expand our market presence in Biopharmaceuticals, Pharmaceutical Production, Biomedical Research, Medical Devices, and Laboratories by actively promoting our capital WIS products, including Washers, Isolators, and Sterilisers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships while tactically engaging with divisional or departmental groups to successfully secure capital equipment, service, and spare parts business opportunities.
  • Cultivate and manage Global Key Accounts within the designated territory.
  • Identify and pursue new customers and business opportunities within the territory – focusing on Business Development.
  • Maintain and enhance existing accounts, proactively seeking end-of-life equipment to generate new inquiries.
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the industry.
  • Oversee the development of opportunities through to the receipt of Purchase Orders, ensuring a seamless transition to Life Science Projects or Service teams.
  • Organize and prepare meetings and presentations for both external clients and internal stakeholders, including presentations to Senior Leadership.
  • Ensure the CRM system is current to maintain the accuracy of the sales pipeline and alignment with sales KPIs.
  • Consistently meet and exceed all sales targets established by the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with clients and external partners to provide insightful and educational sessions to stay ahead of emerging opportunities within the sector.
  • Provide feedback to the organization on market trends to inform future business strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships within Service and Projects to deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end approach.
  • Participate in and organize, in collaboration with MARCOM business partners, regional and international trade exhibitions relevant to the industry.
  • Develop territory marketing strategies to enhance our market visibility.
  • Act as a representative of the Getinge brand.
