Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Protection and Compliance Officer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection and Compliance Officer to join our team at Ventula Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with data protection regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company's data protection policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on data protection and compliance matters.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Investigate and respond to data breaches and other compliance incidents.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on data protection and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Manage and respond to data subject rights requests.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and implement current data protection legislation and developments.
