Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at Eco Careers LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our production sites, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire multiple production manufacturing sites, ensuring operations teams deliver consistently high standards of safety, product quality, operational excellence, and customer service.
  • Support ongoing production processes and continuous improvement activities, undertaking process improvement and capex submissions/projects to ensure existing and future methods of manufacturing are effective and financially viable.
  • Ensure the best possible utilization of materials, plant, equipment, and staff, challenging processes, procedures, and methods to improve production productivity and reduce non-value added activities through LEAN manufacturing, 5S, 6 Sigma, SMED, and mentoring manufacturing teams with sound solutions and innovative operating methods.
  • Implement improvements, financial reporting, and deliver results, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills that will inspire teams through coaching while instilling best practices and building capability.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified within manufacturing/operations/engineering or similar with a proven track record of working in a similar role, i.e., Plant Manager / Operations Manager / Manufacturing Manager at senior operations level within manufacturing/engineering.
  • Experience of Lean manufacturing processes and leading teams across multiple sites within a manufacturing production environment.
  • Ability to implement improvements, financial reporting, and deliver results, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness, and confidence to make decisions.
